Case Study: camden town hall

AV Modernisation for Camden Town Hall while Preserving its History

London Borough of Camden were to refurbish their 1930’s listed Town Hall. The primary aim of the project was to preserve the building’s history and cultural heritage, while modernizing and creating flexible office space, enabling more collaborative ways of working and improving the workplace environment for staff.

We were commissioned for the supply, design and installation of an Audio-Visual solution in the Grade 2 listed Town Hall building, as well as the Structured Cabling and Electronic Security systems.

Our Audio Visual team provided a building wide Digital Signage solution, including interactive wayfinding, built on OneLAN’s platform. Taking in to account the new ways of working, they also provided a hybrid delegate system for the Council Chambers, allowing remote delegates to fully participate in sessions, as well as providing streaming for public viewing.

The scalability and flexibility of the Council Chambers’ system allowed centralised resources to be used to provide distributed audio systems for the Wedding Suites, and audio extension for the Mayor’s Parlour.
