Designed to contribute to the performing and visual arts within the city and region, the Conservatoire allows Birmingham City University to play a key role in delivering the city’s strategy for arts and culture. As part of the construction of this large academic venue, we were engaged to provide a new network, including wired and wireless access.

The University required the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the Network infrastructure. The new network also had to be integrated with the existing Academic Data Network which supports services across its campus.

The whole campus wide LAN infrastructure, including the new Conservatoire building, was also connected to the Millennium Point and City South Data Centres via high-capacity fibre services. Our project team used their unique experience of managing complex ICT delivery within a construction environment to develop and manage a full roll-out plan on behalf of Birmingham City University.
