Onnec was commissioned by a leading data centre provider to design and install the active and passive infrastructure for their new, 56-megawatt, 600,000 square foot data centre campus in Offenbach, Germany. Once complete, the data centre will be one of the largest in Germany.

Onnec SERVICES

Onnec designed and installed the data centre’s copper and fibre infrastructure on which a Cisco Converged Network Solutions (CNS) was built. As a Cisco Select Partner, Onnec procured, commissioned and fully tested the end-to-end Cisco solution. The entire project was designed and deployed within 18 months. Our Landlord solution included:

  • Cabinet installation and racking of devices in two Meet Me Rooms (MMR), two Point of Entry (PoE) rooms and BMS cabinets in every data hall and switch room.
  • Fibre connections to chillers on the roof and fuel storage behind the DC.
  • MaxCell fibre sleeve installation in and out of the building.

Our Tenant solution included:

  • Security: Composite cabling for all access equipment, Cat6 cabling for all security cameras, and 12-core SM fibre to 17 perimeter security poles.
  • Wi-Fi: Copper cabling to WAPs, installation of WAPs across all locations.
  • Office fitout: 2 floor office, high level and low level Cat6 cabling.
