Onnec Retains Investors in Diversity Silver Award
Onnec is delighted to announce its retention of the Investors in Diversity Silver Award, granted by the National Centre for Diversity.
The Silver Award recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in promoting Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (FREDIE) within the workplace.
Onnec’s journey with the National Centre for Diversity began in October 2020, when we started working with the organisation to strengthen our approach to EDI. In January 2021, we achieved the Diversity Foundational Award, before progressing to Silver accreditation in June 2024.
Two years on, we have successfully renewed our Silver accreditation at a higher level, reflecting the progress made across the business and putting us firmly on the path towards Gold – Leaders in Diversity.

The Investors in Diversity accreditation is renewed every two years and involves a detailed assessment, including a staff survey and focus groups with Onnec colleagues facilitated by a National Centre for Diversity representative. This provides an opportunity for our team to share their experiences and feedback directly, as well as assess the progress made since our previous accreditation.
We’re particularly proud of the work being led by our EDI Committee and employee resource groups (ERGs), including Women at Onnec, Pride at Onnec and Neurodiversity at Onnec. These groups play an important role in shaping our EDI activity and ensuring that the initiatives we introduce reflect what matters to our people.
As Onnec continues to grow and operate across different countries and cultures, we remain focused on creating an inclusive environment where our people can feel valued, supported and able to contribute.
